UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur is witnessing a surge of adrenaline and excitement as a skydiving festival transforms the skyline into a hub of adventure. Organized by the Jharkhand Tourism Department in collaboration with Sky High India, the event is currently underway at Sonari Airport from March 21 to March 29.
The festival offers participants a rare opportunity to leap from an altitude of nearly 10,000 feet under the supervision of trained professionals.
With the rush of wind, vast open skies, and breathtaking views below, the experience is proving to be both exhilarating and unforgettable.
From the air, participants are treated to stunning panoramic views of Jharkhand’s lush green landscapes, winding rivers, and rolling hills—an aerial spectacle that few get to witness.
The initiative is not only drawing adventure enthusiasts but also positioning Jharkhand as an emerging destination for thrill-based tourism.
Following its Jamshedpur leg, the festival will head to Dumka, where it will be held from April 1 to April 6, further expanding its reach across the state.
Interested participants can secure their slots through the official booking platform, while additional details are available through district tourism officials, including Manish Jonko.
With its perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty, the skydiving festival is giving people a chance to quite literally see Jharkhand from a whole new perspective.
