UditVani, Jamshedpur : The onset of winter is becoming more evident in Jharkhand as the state prepares for foggy mornings and dry, pleasant days over the next four days.
According to the India Meteorological Department, visibility may remain low during early hours due to fog and mist, particularly in the western and central parts of the state.
As per the forecast, shallow to moderate fog is expected on November 21 and 22, followed by clear skies during daytime.
On November 23 and 24, fog or mist will continue during morning hours, with partly cloudy skies developing later.
Despite slight clouding, the weather will remain predominantly dry across Jharkhand, with no significant weather system currently impacting the region.
Meteorologists attribute the stable and dry pattern to the dominance of north-westerly to northerly winds in the lower levels of the atmosphere—an indication that winter conditions are gradually tightening their grip.
Temperature Trends Indicate Seasonal Shift
Dry weather prevailed throughout the state in the past 24-hours.
Met department officials have advised commuters to remain cautious while traveling during foggy hours due to reduced visibility.
Health experts also recommend taking precautions against early winter cold, especially for children and the elderly.
With the gradual dip in temperatures and fog appearing more frequently, residents can expect stronger winter conditions in the coming days.
