UditVani, Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur entrepreneur Sudhanshu Kumar has sold his Edtech company, iNeuron Intelligence Pvt. Ltd. to edtech unicorn PhysicsWallah Pvt. Ltd (PW) for Rs. 250 crore.The deal will provide an exit to investors including publishing house S Chand & Co. S Chand sold its 6.05% stake in iNeuron for ₹14 crore.
iNeuron is a skilling startup that helps students bag their dream jobs. It helped a chef turn into a coder and a UPSC aspirant with a gap of five years land a job at Amazon.
PW to expand its offerings in the upskilling category:
PhysicsWallah helps students prepare for engineering and medical entrance examinations. It turned unicorn early this year after it raised $100 million in its Series A funding round. It offers upskilling courses under the PW Skills brand, which includes business analytics programmes and computer science languages such as Java and C++. PhysicsWallah will expand its offerings in the upskilling category after this accquisition.
With more than 600 courses across all technologies including state-of-the-art projects in emerging technology like data science, block chain, IoT, AR/VR, and commercial drones, iNeuron has established itself as one of India’s leading EdTech solutions, offering innovative solutions for both aspiring professionals and experienced individuals alike. Sudhanshu Kumar previously worked with consulting companies such as Deloitte and E&Y. He founded iNeuron in 2019. iNeuron was one of India’s few affordable and profit-making skilled education platforms.
