
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The ongoing negotiations over the wage revision agreement for employees of Tata Steel have gathered pace, with the third round of talks between the management and the workers’ union held on Saturday.
The meeting commenced at 10 a.m. and continued for nearly two and a half hours, reflecting a renewed sense of urgency in reaching a consensus.
Senior officials from the management, including CHRO Zubin Palia and Chief Rahul Dubey, participated in the discussions.
Representing the union were President Sanjeev Chaudhary, General Secretary Satish Singh, and Deputy President Shailesh Singh.
According to sources, both sides are closely reviewing previous grade revision agreements to assess the extent of past increments and the criteria used for determining them.
This comparative analysis is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the current negotiations.
