
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Rajesh Sehgal, a senior official of Tata Steel, mourned the loss of his father, R.A. Sehgal, who passed away today, April 16 at the age of 91.
His demise marks the end of a life defined by discipline, dedication, and decades of professional service.
An alumnus of BIT Sindri, R.A. Sehgal began his career in the mid-1960s as a Graduate Trainee with Tata Steel.
Over the years, he earned the respect of colleagues and peers alike for his integrity, commitment, and principled approach to work.
His contributions during his tenure left a lasting imprint on the organisation.
Family members, friends, and well-wishers have expressed deep sorrow at his passing, remembering him as a man of strong values and quiet resilience.
He is survived by his only son, Rajesh Sehgal.
The cremation will take place tomorrow, April 17 at around 3 pm at Parvati Ghat.
The Chautha and Uthala rituals are scheduled for April 18 from 4 pm to 5 pm at Arya Samaj onTapti Road at Sakchi.
