
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) has achieved a significant milestone by winning a prestigious award in the “Innovative Student-Led Environmental Solutions” category. The recognition was conferred at the Classrooms to Climate Action Crusaders 2026 summit, held at the Asia Plateau in Panchgani, Maharashtra.
The Project: Smart Industrial Pollution Tracker
The award was presented by the distinguished former IAS officer, Mr. Anil Swarup. The winning project, titled “Smart Industrial Pollution Tracker,” was conceptualized and developed by talented students A Kaushal Kiran, Naman Bhagat, and Vedant Singhal. The team worked under the expert mentorship of ATL Incharges, Mr. Sagarnil and Ms. Rakhi.

Real-Time Data and Environmental Accountability
The students’ innovative solution utilizes smart technology to monitor industrial pollution levels effectively. By enabling real-time data tracking, the system promotes environmental awareness and ensures greater industrial accountability. This initiative underscores KSMS’s unwavering commitment to fostering scientific inquiry and environmental responsibility through student-led innovation.
