UditVani, Jamshedpur: Ahead of their first away fixture of the AIFF Elite League season, Jamshedpur FC U18 are preparing for a composed yet aggressive outing as they face Inter Kashi in Varanasi on December 13.
The young squad heads into the clash on the back of an emphatic 5-0 win in their season opener, but head coach Kaizad Ambapardiwalla is determined to keep the boys grounded.
Speaking before the team’s final training session at TFA, Kaizad highlighted that mindset has been a key element of their preparations. “The boys are in a good mental space. An away match always brings its own challenges, but we’ve worked on that early. The focus is on staying calm, sticking to our roles, and carrying the same intent we showed in the opener,” he said.

Despite the team’s dominant start, Kaizad made it clear that complacency has no place in their approach. “For us, it gives confidence, not comfort. The scoreline is done. It doesn’t win us the next match. The hunger I saw last week needs to travel with us to Varanasi.”
With their first travel assignment of the season, the squad has also been preparing for external factors. “Away games demand quicker adaptation—pitch, atmosphere, travel fatigue. We want to settle into the game early and keep our structure intact,” Kaizad added.
Jamshedpur FC U18 will aim to build on their positive momentum when they take on Inter Kashi on Wednesday morning. The team departs for Varanasi on December 11 and will hold their matchday-minus-one session upon arrival.
