UditVani, Jamshedpur : The first round of counting for the Jugsalai Nagar Parishad elections has been completed. After the first round, Naushin Khan, wife of Hidayat Khan, is leading the race for the Chairperson’s post with 6,654 votes, holding a lead of 5,228 votes.
Naushin Khan has secured 6,654 votes, while BJP-supported candidate Rinku Singh (wife of Guddu Singh) has received 1,426 votes.
For the 41 polling booths under Jugsalai Nagar Parishad, 14 counting tables have been set up. The final result is expected after three rounds of counting.
