UditVani, Jamshedpur : Breaking away from traditional classroom learning, students from Classes 4 to 8 at RMS recently hosted the school’s inaugural AI and Robotics Exhibition.
The event featured ’14 innovative projects’ developed using Maker Boards and ABOT kits, showcasing a sophisticated leap into the world of coding and automation.

The exhibition stood out for its emphasis on ‘authentic learning over rote memorization’. The Principal of RMS noted that, unlike typical science fairs where students often “mug up” descriptions, the participants demonstrated a ‘deep, functional understanding’ of their work. From the logic of the code to the mechanical assembly, the students were able to explain the entire working of their models with confidence and clarity.

By building these projects from scratch, the students didn’t just learn about Artificial Intelligence -they also sharpened their ‘problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking skills’. This landmark event has set a new standard for technical education at RMS, proving that these young innovators are more than ready to lead the future of technology.
