UditVani, Jamshedpur: Loyola School witnessed a vibrant and inspiring celebration of NCC Raising Day, as cadets, faculty members, and distinguished guests gathered to honour the enduring ideals of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
The event highlighted the NCC’s pivotal role under the Ministry of Defence in shaping young minds through discipline, leadership, character-building, and a deep sense of selfless service.
The programme reflected the organisation’s core values of unity, patriotism, and commitment to nation-building.
The celebration was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Col. Vinay Ahuja, Commanding Officer of 37 BN Jharkhand, and Sena Medal awardee Subedar Major Ravin Khandel.
Their presence and motivating addresses left a profound impact on the cadets, encouraging them to pursue excellence and uphold the highest standards of conduct.
A total of 85 cadets participated in the programme, comprising 60 first-year and 25 second-year students.
The event featured ceremonial proceedings, insightful speeches, and a reaffirmation of the cadets’ dedication to discipline and service.
The dignitaries lauded the cadets for their enthusiasm and commitment, urging them to continue embodying the noble ideals of the NCC.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes, who inspired the cadets to carry forward the legacy of the NCC with pride and responsibility.
