
UditVani, Jamshedpur: St. John’s High School, Jugsalai, witnessed a proud and inspiring moment as it organized its School Cabinet Formation Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 with remarkable enthusiasm and dignity.
The event aimed to nurture leadership qualities, instill a sense of responsibility, and reinforce discipline among students.
The ceremony commenced with a solemn prayer, setting a reflective tone, followed by a warm welcome address.
Principal Ashu Tiwari delivered an inspiring speech, urging the newly elected student leaders to uphold the values of honesty, discipline, and dedication.
She emphasized that members of the School Cabinet are role models whose conduct sets a benchmark for their peers.
Vice Principal P. Ravi Kumar also addressed the gathering, highlighting that leadership is not merely about holding a title but about demonstrating accountability and a genuine spirit of service.
He congratulated the cabinet members and encouraged them to contribute meaningfully to the school’s progress.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking session, where the newly elected members pledged to maintain the dignity of the institution, adhere to discipline, and work for the welfare of fellow students.
The solemn pledge marked the formal assumption of their responsibilities.
The newly appointed leadership team includes Yashwardhan Sharma as Head Boy and Ashika Sharma as Head Girl, with Vishal Rajak and Anjali Kumari serving as Assistant Head Boy and Assistant Head Girl respectively.
House leadership was also announced, with Kavya Sharma (Jupiter), Tehseen Reyaaz and Ritesh Thakur (Mars), Vasu Jaiswal and Pihu Singh (Venus), and Sharmishta Chandra and Gitanshu Gupta (Neptune) taking charge as captains and vice-captains.
In the councillor category, Pratishtha Sharma (Jupiter) was appointed Head Councillor, supported by Hamza Alam, Harshita Pandey, Ariba Firdous, Sourav Paul, Yuvraj Sharma, and Piyush Kumar Kushwaha.
The presence of teachers added to the significance of the occasion, as they encouraged and motivated the students.
