UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a moment of exceptional pride and academic distinction, the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur has delivered a stellar performance in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2026, with its students achieving remarkable success at the national level.
Leading this extraordinary achievement, Tejavath Manoj Kumar (Roll No. 2021UGEE095), a final-year student from the Department of Electrical Engineering, has secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper.

Demonstrating unparalleled academic excellence, he scored an outstanding 92 out of 100 marks and attained the maximum GATE score of 1000, emerging as the national topper in his discipline.
Congratulating him on this historic accomplishment, Goutam Sutradhar, Director of the institute, remarked:

Adding further glory to the institute’s achievements, Adyant Mishra, a third-year student from the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 40, placing him among the top-performing undergraduate candidates in the country. Hailing from Lalganj, he exemplifies determination and perseverance.
Expressing his gratitude, Adyant Mishra said: “I am a simple boy from Rae Bareli, and throughout my journey, my parents—Dilip Kumar Mishra and Shashi Mishra—along with my sisters, have been my constant motivation. I owe this achievement to all my teachers from school and college, and my friends who have supported me at every step. This success was only possible because of their encouragement.”
