UditVani, Jamshedpur: The transition from Class X to XI marks a significant change in a student’s academic life. Hence, to lighten the weight and guide the students and parents through this phase, J.H.Tarapore School organised an orientation programme for the incoming batch of Class XI on 8th April, 2026.
The students and parents were welcomed warmly and introduced to the faculty, creating a comfortable environment for both students and parents. Parents were encouraged to share their suggestions regarding school facilities and teaching methods, making the interaction collaborative and open.
Addressing the gathering, the school authorities spoke about the crucial leap from secondary to senior secondary education. The talk mainly revolved around the increased academic pressure, the expectations that come with it and the need for self discipline. At the same time, parents were urged to trust their children and support them through this demanding phase.
The importance of holistic development was also emphasised, with encouragement for students to participate in excursions and activities beyond the classroom. These experiences, it was noted, often leave lessons that remain long after textbooks are closed.
As the session drew to a close, there was a quiet sense of reassurance in the hall. Both students and parents left the school premises with a calmer mind and a subtle excitement for the future.
