Udit vani, Jamshedpur: The girls’ volleyball team of DBMS English School has achieved a significant milestone by emerging as champions at the prestigious Fr. Cecil Leeming Memorial Inter-School Volleyball Tournament 2026. The tournament, held on April 1st and 2nd, saw fierce competition among leading schools in the region.
Dominant Performance at Loyola School
Hosted at Loyola School, Bistupur, Jamshedpur, the event featured a total of 21 teams from 13 different schools. In the girls’ category, DBMS English School showcased exceptional skill and teamwork to secure the top spot among 10 participating teams.
Individual Excellence: Shaikha Shahnawaz
A highlight of the tournament was the recognition of Shaikha Shahnawaz from DBMS English School. Her outstanding contribution on the court earned her the Best Player Award, marking her as one of the most promising athletes in the competition.
