
UditVani, Jamshedpur: With the objective of making the party more streamlined, active and people-centric, the Jamshedpur unit of the Janata Dal (United) has been reconstituted.
The reorganisation was announced by Metropolitan President Ajay Kumar through an official press statement issued here on Saturday.
Clarifying a key structural change, Ajay Kumar stated that the post of Working President will no longer exist in the Jamshedpur Metropolitan Unit of JD(U), as part of efforts to simplify the organisational framework and enhance efficiency.
As per the newly constituted executive committee, Ashok Singh has been appointed as Vice President, while Rajkumar Paswan has been named General Secretary.
The party has also appointed eight leaders to the post of Secretary, including Vineet Singh, Deepak Gaur, Pooja Agarwal, Mrityunjay Sharma, Vinod Singh, Vikas Rajak, Dhanoj Singh and Rajiv Sinha.
In addition, Sunny Gop has been entrusted with the responsibility of Social Media In-Charge.
The new President informed that all appointments have come into effect with immediate effect.
He urged the newly appointed office-bearers to work diligently in accordance with the policies, principles and ideology of Janata Dal (United), and to strengthen the party’s connect with the masses at the grassroots level.
