
Uditvani, Jamshedpur : In a significant organizational development within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Aditya Sahu has been appointed as the working president of the party’s Jharkhand state unit.
He replaced Ravindra Rai.
The appointment was announced by BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, following a formal directive issued by the party’s National General Secretary, Arun Singh.
The official notification, dated October 3, states that Aditya Sahu, who currently represents Jharkhand in the Rajya Sabha, will take charge immediately as the State Working President of the BJP in Jharkhand.
This move is part of the party’s strategic efforts to strengthen its organizational structure and enhance coordination at the state level.
Consequently, Ravindra Kumar Rai has been relieved from his position and will be succeeded by Sahu.
The directive emphasizes that this appointment will be effective with immediate effect.
Arun Singh, National General Secretary of the BJP and the officer in charge of headquarters operations, has signed the order, highlighting the leadership transition as part of the party’s continued focus on effective governance and organizational efficiency in Jharkhand.
Copies of the notification have also been sent to all senior national and state-level office-bearers of the party.
This appointment is expected to consolidate the party’s grassroots-level activities and mobilize organizational resources in Jharkhand, as the state heads toward future political and electoral challenges.
