UditVani, Jamshedpur : Police have cracked the daylight robbery at Vardhman Jewelers in Sonari on September 3, arresting three members of an inter-state gang.
A country-made pistol, magazine, two live cartridges, the car used in the crime, two motorcycles, and five mobile phones were recovered.
City SP Kumar Shivashish said the arrests followed analysis of CCTV footage, technical surveillance, and confidential inputs. Interrogation revealed the gang’s involvement in multiple jewelry shop heists across Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal.
Police have identified other members of the gang and are conducting raids to apprehend them. The seized weapons and vehicles have been sent for forensic examination.
Officials said the swift action has boosted public confidence, assuring that all culprits involved in the Vardhman Jewelers robbery will soon face strict legal action.
