UditVani, Jamshedpur : Tata Main Hospital (TMH) today announced the rollout of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on its TMH Vishwas V2 App, effective September 1.
The update is aimed at strengthening data protection and ensuring secure access to healthcare services for all users.
The TMH Vishwas V2 App is an online platform that enables patients to book OPD and Prime appointments. With the introduction of MFA, users will log in with their User ID and password, followed by a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number. This two-step verification will add an extra layer of security, safeguarding sensitive medical data.
TMH has urged all users to ensure their latest mobile number, email ID, and residential address are updated on the TMH Vishwas V2 App before September 1, in order to avoid login disruptions.
To assist patients, a detailed User Manual is available on the app landing page under the section: “Mobile, Email ID and Residential Address Update SOP.”
