Uditvani, Jharkhand: Several isolated places in north- western Jharkhand is expected to experience thunderstorm and lightning accompanied with gusty wind (max wind speed: 30-40 Kmph) today.
IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast in this regard today.
The forecast also indicated hail accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning, gusty wind (max wind speed: 40-50 kmph) at isolated places
over southern and adjoining central parts of the state on Thursday, March 20.
The thunderstorm activity during the past two days in isolated places has stopped the Celsius march.
The maximum temperature was hovering around 32 degree Celsius in Ranchi and its adjoining areas while in Jamshedpur the day temperature is around 37 degree Celsius.
Daltonganj and its adjoining areas have recorded 35 degree celsius during the past 24 hours while Chaibasa in adjoining West Singhbhum district was the hottest place with 38.4 degree Celsius.
Partly cloudy sky is also expected to prevail at a few isolated places today.
