UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a gesture reflecting deep respect for the city’s rich industrial legacy, Jamshedpur FC players Stephen Eze and Rei Tachikawa paid homage to the father of Indian industry, Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, on his 187th birth anniversary at the Tata Motors Workers Union Office today.
The two footballers offered floral tributes and observed a solemn moment in remembrance of the visionary whose ideals laid the foundation of modern Jamshedpur.
Their visit underscored the deep bond between the city’s sporting spirit and its industrial heritage.
Representing Jamshedpur FC, Eze and Tachikawa acknowledged the enduring legacy of J.N. Tata, whose pioneering vision not only transformed Indian industry but also gave birth to the Steel City — a hub of enterprise, community living, and sporting excellence.
The tribute served as a reminder that beyond the roar of the stadium and the passion of football, Jamshedpur’s identity remains firmly rooted in the principles of integrity, progress, and nation-building championed by its founder.
