UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a meaningful initiative fostering compassion and social responsibility, students of Class IX from Loyola School, Telco undertook an outreach visit to Palasbani village, interacting with nearly 60–70 village children in a spirit of solidarity and service.
The visit, guided by Fr. Alex, began with a serene walk through the village, offering students a glimpse into the simplicity and charm of rural life.
Beautifully painted huts adorned with traditional tribal art, tranquil ponds, and lush natural surroundings reflected the rich cultural heritage of the community.
The day soon turned into a vibrant celebration of creativity and friendship. Village children enthusiastically participated in drawing and colouring activities conducted by the Loyola students, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joyful learning.
Adding to the festive spirit, the Loyola School band performed lively musical pieces that delighted the young audience.
In return, the village children presented a colourful tribal dance, proudly showcasing their cultural traditions.
The exchange of performances created lasting memories and strengthened bonds between the two groups.
As part of the outreach programme, essential items were distributed among the village children as a gesture of care and support.
The experience deeply moved the Loyola students, many of whom expressed a strong desire to continue such meaningful engagements in the future.
The school extended special gratitude to Fr. Alex for his guidance and for introducing the students to the village school.
Appreciation was also expressed to Principal Charanjeet Ohson for her constant encouragement of service initiatives, and to Administrator Gerald D’Souza for his valuable support in making the visit successful.
Reaffirming its mission, Loyola School, Telco continues to nurture compassion, cultural exchange, and social responsibility among its students through outreach programmes that build bridges of understanding and service across communities.
