UditVani, Jamshedpur : XLRI Jamshedpur came alive with emotion, nostalgia and celebration as 136 alumni from across batches returned to their alma mater for the much-anticipated Homecoming 2025.
The two-day event blended memory, camaraderie and intellectual engagement, offering a vibrant mix of panel discussions, cultural performances and informal interactions between alumni and current students.
The transformed campus evoked pride among returning graduates, who enthusiastically revisited old corners, shared stories, and participated in music, dance, theatre and instrumental showcases.
The highlight of the celebrations was the grand felicitation ceremony held on Saturday at the Tata Auditorium.
Nine distinguished alumni were honoured across five categories for their exemplary achievements in their respective domains.
Director Fr S George SJ lauded the awardees, saying, “Our alumni are the true brand ambassadors of XLRI.”
XLRI Alumni Association president Rana Bir Sinha added, describing the night as “the Oscars for XLRIans.”

Speaking after receiving his award, Srinivas Reddy Vudumula of Novulis Global Solutions shared a heartfelt message: “XLRI’s curriculum is uniquely designed not just to create excellent managers but to shape better human beings. While my engineering education taught me technical skills, the two years at XLRI, with its deep emphasis on ethics and the greater good, completely transformed my life and career.”
The Homecoming concluded with a reaffirmation of XLRI’s enduring mission—nurturing leaders rooted in conscience, compassion and competence, who continue to carry forward its legacy across the world.
