Expulsions
Meanwhile, in a swift disciplinary move, the Jharkhand BJP expelled Ghatsila Mandal President Kaushik Kumar for anti-party activities.
According to a release issued by BJP State General Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, the action was taken under the direction of State President and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi after Kaushik Kumar was found participating in election campaigning against the party’s official candidate, Babulal Soren, in the Ghatsila bypoll.
The developments signal heightened political realignment in East Singhbhum as parties gear up for the crucial by-election.
