
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jharkhand continued to witness dry and stable weather with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) reporting no significant synoptic system affecting the state.
North-easterly to easterly winds dominated the lower tropospheric levels, contributing to clear skies and cool conditions across most districts.
According to the Realised Weather Report issued by the Meteorological Centre, Ranchi, dry weather prevailed statewide, with no rainfall recorded at any IMD or AWS ( Automated Weather Station )
Cold wave conditions were observed at isolated places in the western and central parts of Jharkhand, as minimum temperatures dipped significantly during the early morning hours.
Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 26.4°C, slightly below normal, while the minimum settled at 12.4°C on Tuesday.
Jamshedpur registered 28.0°C as the day’s high and 13.0°C as the minimum.
Among AWS stations, Godda recorded the highest maximum at 29.5°C, whereas Gumla AWS logged the state’s lowest minimum temperature at 10.5°C.
Visibility remained satisfactory, with MC Ranchi reporting 1200 meters, and no stations reported rainfall in the past 24 hours.
IMD expects the prevailing dry conditions to continue, with night temperatures likely to decline further in parts of western and central Jharkhand.
