
UditVani, Jamshedpur : JH Tarapore School hosted its Annual Recognition Night for the academic session 2025–26 on Tuesday evening, celebrating excellence, character, and social responsibility with grace and enthusiasm.
The function began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a captivating dance performance by students, inspired by the theme International Year of Women Farmers.
The presentation set a meaningful tone for the evening, blending cultural expression with social awareness.
The event aimed to honour students for their outstanding achievements across diverse domains, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic education in line with the National Education Policy 2020.
Academic excellence, values, creativity, and community engagement were at the heart of the recognitions.
Chief Guest Dr. Faroak Sanjana graced the occasion and presented awards to the students. In her address, she congratulated the achievers and encouraged them to pursue excellence with dedication and integrity.
The evening witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, parents, and faculty members, adding to its significance.
Awards were conferred under several categories, including Academic Excellence, Good Conduct, Most Responsible Student, and Perseverance. Special accolades were also given for achievements in Olympiads, sports, and social initiatives.

In a notable recognition, Insha Azmat Khan (Class XII) was honoured for her commendable social work by Shouvik Saha, founder of People for Change.
The Teacher Rinku Sehra Award for Humanities was presented to Shafiya Iqubal (Class XII), acknowledging academic distinction in the humanities stream.
A new award, the Sumita Bhattacharjee Memorial Trophy – Good Samaritan Award, was introduced this year and presented to Arna Sinha (Class X) for her kindness, humility, and selfless willingness to help others.
Recognising co-curricular excellence, the Environment Club and Art Club were jointly awarded the Best Club Award for their consistent and impactful engagement throughout the year.
Reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility, the school extended support to community initiatives.
Donations were presented to Ashok Ghosh of Helping Hearts Foundation for the Roti Initiative, and to Sunil Mukherjee and Kamal Kumar Ghosh of the Voluntary Blood Donators Association.
Voluntary blood donors were also felicitated for their life-saving contributions.
The evening concluded on a note of pride and fulfilment, with a heartfelt vote of thanks followed by the School Song, marking the end of a memorable celebration of talent, perseverance, and values.
