The newly opened 1,500 sq. ft. experiential hub is making headlines for its strict “No-Mobile Zone” policy, designed to force a “digital detox” for both children and their parents.
‘Kraft & Krumble’ was jointly inaugurated by Sushil Rungta and Shyam Lal Agarwal on Monday, 20th April 2026. Several prominent citizens of the city and members of the Rungta family were present at the event.
Unplugging for Meaningful Interaction
The philosophy behind the venture, led by owner Anuradha Rungta, is to create a sanctuary free from digital distractions. By enforcing a no-phone rule, the café and activity center aim to:

Nurture Development: Drawing on her background in dance and child development, Rungta designed the space to foster “real-world memories” and imaginative play.
“Kraft & Krumble is a space where children can explore and celebrate childhood in the most natural way,” says Anuradha Rungta. “I wanted to build an environment that inspires joy and real connections—away from screens.”
