
UditVani, Jamshedpur: In a commendable step towards promoting community health and awareness, the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur East successfully organised a free health check-up camp under its “Positive Health” initiative.
The camp offered essential health screenings, including blood pressure (BP), blood sugar, height, and weight measurements for the general public and underprivileged sections.
More than 100 people availed themselves of these free services, making the initiative both impactful and widely appreciated.
This marks the fourth health camp organised by the club in the current Rotary year, reflecting its sustained commitment to community service and public well-being.
Prominent members present on the occasion included Past President Dr. Anup Gupta, Dolly Gupta, Past President Kailash Singhania, Past President Preetpal Singh, Past President Prema Gupta, Past President Dr. S. S. Rajji, Past President P. M. Dutta, Dr. Janaki, Secretary Santoshi, Rotary spouse Ravi, Rotarian Prantik, Rotarian P. M. Dutta, and Club President Rotarian Puneet Kauntia, among others.
Doctors at the camp not only conducted primary health screenings but also provided valuable guidance to beneficiaries on maintaining and improving their health parameters.
The initiative particularly aims to raise awareness among individuals who may be unaware of their key health indicators, encouraging timely preventive care.
The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur East reaffirmed its commitment to continue such meaningful initiatives in the future, strengthening its role in serving the community.
