On the cooler end, Gumla AWS registered the lowest minimum temperature at 4.8°C, maintaining its reputation as one of Jharkhand’s colder pockets during winter nights.

Fog: No fog conditions were realised anywhere in the state.
Cold Wave: No cold wave conditions were reported, indicating relief from harsh winter extremes.
Visibility: The lowest visibility was observed at Jamshedpur (MO) at 1500 metres, still within manageable limits for normal activity.

Data from Automated Weather Stations (AWS) further confirmed the prevailing dry and stable conditions:
Maximum temperatures across districts largely ranged between 24°C and 30°C.
Night temperatures showed sharper drops in plateau and forested regions such as Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, and Lohardaga, underscoring typical winter nocturnal cooling.
All AWS stations uniformly reported zero rainfall, reinforcing the dominance of dry continental air.
