UditVani, Jamshedpur: A brazen daylight burglary was reported at Lalita Parshuram Dental Clinic on Sankosai Road No. 1 under Mango police station area on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 12:30 pm, two miscreants allegedly broke into the clinic by damaging the rear wall and made away with a television set and a laptop.
Alert locals noticed the suspicious activity and raised an alarm, leading to a chase. One of the accused was caught by residents and handed over to the police, while the other managed to flee.
Mango police reached the spot soon after and took the arrested accused into custody for interrogation. Police said efforts are underway to trace the absconding accomplice.
The incident has sparked concern among local residents, who have called for enhanced security and regular police patrolling in the area.
