
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The city of Jamshedpur is set to become the heartbeat of Indian hockey as the Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) proudly announces its hosting of the 5th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship 2025, scheduled from 30th September to 10th October 2025.
This premier national-level tournament will bring together the powerhouses of Indian hockey representing India’s top departments and institutions. A total of 18 elite teams has been divided into four pools:

Pool A: Petroleum Sports Promotion Board, Punjab National Bank, All India Police Sports Control Board, Tamil Nadu Police, Union Bank of India
Pool B: Railway Sports Promotion Board, Comptroller & Auditor General of India, Central Reserve Police Force, Sashastra Seema Bal, Punjab & Sind Bank
Pool C: Services Sports Control Board, Steel Plants Sports Board, Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports, Central Industrial Security Force
Pool D: Food Corporation of India, Sports Authority of India, ITBP Central Hockey Team, Central Board of Direct Taxes
The tournament will kick off on 30th September with thrilling opening encounters. Over the following days, hockey enthusiasts will witness high-voltage matches leading up to the grand finale on 10th October 2025 at the NTHA ground, Jamshedpur.
