UditVAni, NewsDesk: Union Steel Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy is set to launch the ‘PLI Scheme 1.1’ for the steel industry on Monday at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. During the event, the Minister will also invite applications for the scheme. According to the Steel Ministry, the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) initiative has already attracted investments of approximately ₹27,000 crore, creating over 14,000 direct jobs.
