UditVani, Jamshedpur: JUSCO School South Park hosted the fourth edition of ECONOVISTA 2K24, an exciting inter-school festival that saw the participation of over 600 students from 23 schools on November 26, 2024. The event took place within the school premises, offering a platform for students to showcase their diverse skills and talents across various disciplines.
The event was graced by the presence of notable personalities, including Deepak P Kamath, CEO of Tata Steel Support Services Ltd., who attended as the Chief Guest. A F Madon, Administrator of JEM Foundation, was the Guest of Honour, while other esteemed dignitaries included Jiju Thomas, Senior Manager at JEM Foundation, and Rakesh Pandey, Vice Principal of KHS. The inauguration began with the lighting of the auspicious lamp, followed by an electrifying performance by the school’s band and a captivating dance performance by the students.

In her welcome address, Mili Sinha, Principal, JUSCO School South Park, emphasized the importance of such festivals in providing students with opportunities to interact, learn, and display their talents. She noted that events like ECONOVISTA offer a platform for young minds to grow and refine their skills.

The festival featured 12 dynamic events, both onstage and offstage, which tested the participants in various creative and academic disciplines. The efforts of the teachers, particularly Mr. Uday Choudhary, Mrs. Supriya Paul, Mrs. Sarojini Banra, and Mrs. Jyoti Mahato, were instrumental in making the event a success. Their commitment and dedication were highly appreciated by the judges, who commended the efforts of all the teams.

In his speech, Deepak P Kamath highlighted the numerous opportunities available to today’s youth. He encouraged the students to embrace such events as a means of exploring and unleashing their potential. He further stated that combining education with passion leads to success, urging the participants to pursue their dreams with dedication.
Celebrating Excellence: Award Ceremony
At the conclusion of the event, the winners of various categories, along with the overall champions and runners-up, were honored during the award ceremony. Mr. Jiju Thomas, along with Mrs. Mili Sinha, presented the trophies to the victorious teams. St. Mary’s High School emerged as the Overall Champions, while JUSCO School Kadma secured the Runner-Up position.
ECONOVISTA 2K24 was a resounding success, offering students a valuable opportunity to showcase their abilities, build camaraderie, and engage in healthy competition. The event proved to be a shining example of how educational festivals can inspire the next generation to excel in all areas of life.
