UditVani, Ranchi : The leader of the BJP legislature party will be selected in the first week of December.
Party leaders believe that the legislature party meeting should be held only after the swearing-in of the chief minister and the announcement of the new cabinet.
This work will be completed before the party announces the winter session of the assembly.

At the meeting all the MLAs will give their opinion in the presence of the party’s central observer.
After this, the name of the leader of the legislature party will be announced with the consent of the central leadership.
At the meeting, the names of chief whip and whip of the assembly will also be decided.
Significantly, BJP is the largest Opposition in the state assembly and hence the leader of Opposition will go to BJP’s account and the leader of BJP legislative party will be the leader of the Opposition.
