
Farewell Ceremony at Union Premises
Udit Vani, Jamshedpur: A formal farewell function was organized today, April 8, 2026, at the Tata Workers’ Union (TWU) premises to honor the service of 18 retired employees of Tata Steel. These retirees, who are also members of the Union, were recognized for their long-standing dedication and professional journey.
Warm Welcome by Union Leadership
The event saw the presence of the top brass of the Tata Workers’ Union. Sri Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary (President), Sri Shailesh Kumar Singh (Deputy President), and Mr. Satish Kumar Singh (General Secretary) led the proceedings. They were joined by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh (Vice President), Sri Rajiv Choudhary (Vice President), Sri Nitesh Raj (Assistant Secretary), Sri Shyam Babu (Assistant Secretary), and Sri Amod Kumar Dubey (Treasurer & Accountant) in welcoming the former employees.
Recognition of Contribution and Best Wishes
The leadership presented bouquets and gifts to each of the 18 retirees as a token of appreciation. The ceremony highlighted their significant contributions to both Tata Steel as a company and the Tata Workers’ Union.
