
10th April 2026, Jamshedpur: In a historic achievement, Jamshedpur FC’s U18, U16, and U14 teams have qualified for the final round of the AIFF Elite, Youth, and Sub-Junior League 2025-26. Notably This becomes more special as all three teams qualified for the final round undefeated and as Table Topper of Group G. This remarkable feat showcases the strength and depth of Jamshedpur FC’s youth squad, highlighting the club’s commitment to developing talent and nurturing young footballers.
The qualification of all three age groups is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches, and support staff. It also reflects the club’s focus on creating a robust youth pipeline, which will contribute to the growth of Indian football.
Jamshedpur U18 team under Head Coach Kaizad Ambapardiwala has delivered a highly impressive campaign, building on their runners-up finish in last season’s AIFF Elite Youth League. Whereas in this season competing in the AIFF Elite League 2025-26 Zonal Group G, the team remained undefeated throughout the group stage and secured qualification for the final round, scheduled to take place in Mahilpur, Punjab from April 16 onwards.
This group of players, who have trained together over the past three years since joining the club at the U16 level, has demonstrated consistent performance levels throughout the years. In the AIFF U18 Elite League, of ten matches played, the team recorded seven wins and two draws, finishing at the top of the table with 26 points. They scored 42 goals while conceding just three.
Notably, this achievement came despite the absence of Heeranganba Seram, who earned a national team call-up to the India U17 squad and is currently preparing for the AFC U17 Championship in Saudi Arabia. Rayan emerged as the team’s leading goal scorer with 10 goals in the group stage.
The squad also reflects strong regional representation, with seven players from Jharkhand.
Jamshedpur U16 team under Head Coach Shakti Singh has continued its upward trajectory by qualifying for the final round for the second consecutive season, a first in the club’s history at this level. The team remained unbeaten in the Zonal Round Group G just like their U18 seniors.
In eight matches, the team secured seven wins and one draw, scoring 33 goals and conceding just five. The squad features a strong local core, with 14 players from Jharkhand.
Marshal Hembran and Rajveer Kapoor were the standout performers in attack, each scoring eight goals during the campaign. The team will now prepare for the final round, which is set to be held in Goa.
Jamshedpur U14 team under Head Coach Former TFA Cadet M. Rahul Raj has had a near-perfect campaign, winning all eight matches played so far to secure qualification for the final round well in advance, with three games still remaining at the time of qualification. The final round will be held in Mahabalipuram, near Chennai.
This squad represents a significant milestone in the club’s grassroots development, being formed as a fully residential team this season. All 20 players are from Jharkhand, a result of an extensive and successful scouting process. Coaches conducted trials across multiple districts in Jharkhand, with a three-stage selection process to identify and recruit talent.
On the field, the team has been dominant, scoring 32 goals and conceding only two. Kartik Marandi has been the standout individual performer, leading the scoring charts with 15 goals and establishing himself as one of the most promising talents in the group.
Across all three age groups, Jamshedpur FC’s youth teams have demonstrated strong competitive performances, and clear developmental progress.
