
Udit Vani, Jamshedpur: Tata Steel commemorated the 187th Founder’s Day of its visionary founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata with solemnity and pride at the Tata Steel Works, Jamshedpur. The theme for this year’s celebration was “One Vision, One Tata Steel.”
Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Steel and Tata Sons, graced the occasion. T. V. Narendran, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Steel, along with other members of the Board of Directors, were also present.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, Noel Tata, Vice Chairman, Tata Steel, attended the Founder’s Day celebrations in Jamshedpur along with his wife Aloo Noel Tata and daughters Maya Tata and Leah Tata.
A total of 42 contingents representing various divisions of Tata Steel and other Tata Group companies participated in the ceremonial parade to pay homage to the Founder. Members of the Citizens Advisory Council, union representatives of Tata Steel and group companies, and senior officials joined the homage ceremony.
The Chairman and senior leadership also paid homage at Postal Park in Jamshedpur in the presence of members of the Citizens’ Forum, reflecting the deep bond between Tata Steel and the city founded on the ideals of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata.
On the sidelines of the event, the Chairman interacted with members of the media and shared insights on Tata Steel’s growth journey, strategic priorities, and future roadmap, reaffirming the Company’s commitment to sustainable growth and nation-building.
Founder’s Day continues to be a moment of collective pride for Tata Steel, honouring the enduring legacy and visionary leadership of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, whose ideals continue to guide the organisation’s path forward.
