
UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a calm and dignified show of public participation, Mala Kumari today formally filed her nomination for the Mango Municipal Corporation election from Ward No. 12.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), Master’s degree (M.A.), and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and is widely regarded as someone who understands grassroots issues with sensitivity and depth.

Her public profile is further strengthened by the long-standing social work of her husband, Dharmendra Kumar, a well-known social activist who has been actively engaged in community service in the Rajiv Path area for over 25 years.
His initiatives have significantly contributed to road construction, drainage systems, installation of street lights, access to drinking water, and measures related to women’s safety.
His consistent presence and service have earned him the trust of local residents.
Addressing the gathering after filing her nomination, Mala Kumari stated that if elected with the people’s blessings, she would work with full dedication for the holistic development of Ward No. 12.
She outlined her key priorities as improvement of roads and drainage infrastructure,
ensuring availability of clean drinking water ,
adequate street lighting across the ward and
safety and security of women and girls.
Appealing for public support, she emphasized her commitment to becoming a transparent, honest and people-centric councillor, dedicated to working in the true spirit of public welfare.
