UditVani, Jamshedpur: Sarthak Singh, one of the city’s brightest young minds, has brought laurels to Jamshedpur with an exceptional performance in the JEE Main Session 2 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
A student of DAV Public School, Bistupur, Sarthak emerged as the city topper, securing an impressive 99.928 percentile.
His achievement reflects not only academic excellence but also a steadfast commitment to his long-cherished goal—pursuing engineering at the prestigious IIT Bombay.
This aspiration has been clear since his early school days. In the CBSE Class 10 board examinations (2024), Sarthak had already showcased his academic prowess by scoring 98 percent, reiterating his ambition to reach the pinnacle of technical education.
Beyond academics, Sarthak nurtures broader ambitions. He envisions a future in investment banking and ultimately aims to establish his own entrepreneurial venture.
His journey, however, has not been without challenges. Once grappling with a gaming addiction, Sarthak found renewed clarity and discipline through the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, which he credits for instilling focus and inner strength.
The son of Som Kumar Shashi, an employee of Tata Steel, and Pinky Shashi, Sarthak attributes his success to a disciplined lifestyle, spiritual grounding, and consistent hard work.
For him, studies are not merely an obligation but a source of mental peace.
With unwavering determination and a clear vision, Sarthak now stands poised to take the next decisive step toward his dream of joining IIT Bombay, carrying with him the pride and hopes of his city.
