More than a ceremonial tradition, the occasion reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to shaping young leaders who lead with purpose and values.

The programme began with a dignified procession of councillors, captains, and vice-captains, led by Principal Charanjeet Ohson, alongside Father Oscar Horo, Vice Principals Reshma Rodrigues and Zeenat Maria Sundi, Moderator Colleen Xavier, and the outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl.
The solemn march underscored the importance of the responsibilities being entrusted.
The ceremony opened with a prayer led by the Principal, invoking divine guidance for the newly elected council.
A melodious prayer song followed, creating an atmosphere of reflection and spiritual grounding—reinforcing that true leadership is rooted in humility and service.
The formal investiture commenced with the conferring of badges and sashes upon the School Council President, Gaurav Mahato of Class XI A, along with the Head Boy and Head Girl of Class X.
This symbolic act marked the transfer of trust and accountability, calling upon the student leaders to serve as role models and guardians of the school’s ethos.
Badges and sashes were subsequently conferred upon representatives from all classes, recognising their role as vital links between the student body and the institution.
From young beadles to senior councillors and house captains, each group was entrusted with responsibilities suited to their role—fostering teamwork, participation, and a shared sense of ownership.
A defining moment of the ceremony was the oath-taking, administered by School Council President Gaurav Mahato.
The newly elected members pledged to uphold the institution’s values, lead with honesty and fairness, and work selflessly for the welfare of all.
The oath served as a powerful reminder that leadership is not about authority, but about service, accountability, and moral courage.
In her address, Principal Charanjeet Ohson congratulated the student leaders and emphasised that the Student Council is not merely a body of office-bearers, but a platform for building character, collaboration, and responsible citizenship.
She encouraged them to lead with integrity, inspire their peers, and contribute meaningfully to the school community.
The ceremony concluded with vote of thanks by Alashika Shiksha, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
