
UditVani, Jamshedpur: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 was conducted successfully across India on January 4, between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, reaffirming its reputation as one of the country’s most credible and well-managed national-level entrance examinations.
The test was held simultaneously in a single shift across 121 cities at 288 examination centres, with a common question paper to ensure uniformity and transparency.
The examination process remained seamless throughout, with no reports of technical or operational disruptions, allowing candidates to appear for the test in a fair and well-regulated environment.
To ensure effective co-ordination and real-time monitoring, a centralized Command Centre was set up at XLRI Jamshedpur, which played a pivotal role in overseeing the smooth conduct of the examination nationwide.
XAT 2026 witnessed an impressive response, with around 1.35 lakh candidates registering for the exam, reflecting the sustained confidence of management aspirants in the XAT process.
Known for attracting candidates from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, XAT continues to be a trusted gateway to some of India’s premier management institutions.
