
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur FC concluded their Super Cup campaign on a winning note, defeating Inter Kashi 2-0 at the Bambolim Ground.
Goals from Messi Bouli and substitute Manvir Singh ensured Steven Dias’ side ended their group-stage journey with pride and confidence.
The Men of Steel began the match with intensity, pressing high and creating multiple early chances through Puia, Sanan, and Vincy Barretto. Their persistence paid off in the 38th minute when Nikola Stojanovic’s corner wasn’t properly cleared, allowing Messi Bouli to rise above the defence and head home the opening goal.
Buoyed by the lead, Jamshedpur continued to dominate proceedings, with Sanan and Vincy coming close to extending the advantage before halftime. After the break, the pressure remained constant, as Messi once again tested the Inter Kashi goalkeeper while Sanan narrowly missed from close range.
The decisive second goal arrived in the 82nd minute. Pronay Halder’s precise long ball was flicked on smartly by Messi into the path of substitute Manvir Singh, who made no mistake with a powerful finish to seal the result.
Inter Kashi attempted a late fightback but were kept at bay by goalkeeper Albino Gomes, who produced a fine save from a free-kick. Jamshedpur nearly made it 3-0 in stoppage time, with Manvir’s effort drifting just wide of the post.
With this commanding win, Jamshedpur FC ended their Super Cup campaign on a high, showcasing strong teamwork and attacking flair under coach Steven Dias.
