Uditvani, Jamshedpur: Rajendra Vidyalaya School today bid an emotional farewell to two of its esteemed members.
Geography teacher Ila Patra, who dedicated 29 golden years of her life to the institution, and Biology Lab Assistant Sunil Kumar, who served the school for an impressive 34 years, were honored for their unwavering commitment and contribution.
The farewell ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including President of Bihar Association B.N. Choudhary, secretary of Bihar Association, Amrendra Sinha, treasurer Vivekanand, principal Anita Tiwari, vice principal Pyali Mukherjee, junior in-charge D. Vani, and all other teaching staff.
B.N. Choudhary praised the dedication of both retiring members and extended his wishes for their good health and a bright future.
Amrendra Sinha encouraged everyone to draw inspiration from their commitment and remain dedicated to their duties.
Hindi teacher Savita Shukla shared heartfelt memories of working with the two, making the atmosphere deeply emotional. Both Sunil Kumar and Ila Patra fondly recalled their journey and cherished moments at the school.
The event began with a warm welcome by teacher Barnali and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by principal Anita Tiwari.
