UditVani, Jamshedpur: The Dramatics Club of DBMS English School organized the much-awaited Inter-School Competition, Theatrics 2024 today (30th November 2024).
This event was a vibrant showcase of creativity and dramatic talent, where students from various grades participated with enthusiasm and passion.
A Spectacle of Creativity and Colors
The competition was divided into three levels to cater to different age groups:
– Level A: Standard III & IV
– Level B: Standard V & VI
– Level C: Standard VII & VIII
Each level featured two distinct categories, one in English and the other in Hindi:
– Level A:
– English: Characters from Indian History
– Hindi: Indian Mythological Characters
– Level B:
– English: Characters from Fairy Tales and Harry Potter
– Hindi: Comedians of Bollywood
– Level C:
– English: International Leaders
– Hindi: National Leaders
The event began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony performed by the Members of the Management and the Vice-Principal, followed by a prayer song to seek blessings for the success of the event.
A Panel of Judges
The competition was judged by a distinguished panel of experts. For the English section, the panel included Guneet Sarkar, Nilanjana Mukherjee, and Mrs. Nandini Bhattacharya. For the Hindi section, the judges were Lipika Mahato, Archana Singh, and Sweta Swaroop.
A Magical Performance
As the curtains rose, the stage was transformed into a magical world, where students brought their characters to life with vibrant costumes and dynamic performances. Each participant embodied their chosen character with enthusiasm, leaving the audience spellbound. The event was truly a celebration of imagination, creativity, and the spirit of competition.

The event culminated in an awards ceremony, where the winners were recognized for their outstanding performances:
