
Udit Vani Jamshedpur : JMM further strengthened its footprint in West Singhbhum as it won three seats of West Singhbhum – Chaibasa, Majhgaon and Chakradharpur – and was close to register win in the other two assembly seats – Jagannathpur and Manoharpur.
In the Jagannathpur assembly constituency, BJP candidate Geeta Koda, wife of former chief minister Madhu Koda, was trailing by a margin of 7,383 votes at the end of 17th and the final round.
She was facing a defeat at the hands of Congress candidate Sona Ram Sinku.
