
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Loyola School, Telco resonated with the charm and cadence of poetry as it hosted a vibrant Recitation Competition on Thursday, April 16.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of UKG to Class III, each presenting a delightful array of poems with remarkable confidence, clarity, and expression.
The young participants captivated the audience with their eloquence and stage presence, breathing life into themes ranging from patriotism and environmental awareness to imagination and moral values.
Their performances not only highlighted their linguistic abilities but also reflected creativity, emotional depth, and a growing appreciation for the art of expression.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Charanjit Ohson, Fr. Oscar Horo, Moderator Colleen, and Vice-Principal Zeenat Maria Sundi, whose encouragement added to the significance of the occasion.
The panel of judges – Deepti Surin, Kanchan, and Sony—carefully evaluated each performance, while the event was conducted with poise by Maryam.
In her concluding address, the Principal lauded the students for their commendable efforts and underscored the importance of such platforms in nurturing confidence, creativity, and effective communication among young learners.
Fr. Oscar Horo also inspired the participants to continue striving for excellence in all their endeavours.
