
UditVani, Jamshedpur:The Kerala Samajam community in Jamshedpur is mourning the loss of its Chairman, K. P. G. Nair (Chettan), who passed away on Tuesday (at 3:30 pm) at Tata Main Hospital (TMH).
His demise has left a deep void among members and well-wishers, who remember him as a guiding force and a pillar of strength for the organisation.
A widely respected figure, Chettan played a pivotal role in strengthening Kerala Samajam’s activities and fostering a sense of unity within the community.
His leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment significantly contributed to the growth and prominence of the organisation over the years.
Soon after the news of his passing spread, members of Kerala Samajam, along with admirers from across the city, expressed profound grief and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Many described him as a compassionate leader whose contributions will continue to inspire future generations.
The final rites of the departed soul will be performed on March 19. Details regarding the funeral arrangements are expected to be shared by the Samajam in due course.
Paying tribute, Nandini Shukla, Principal of Kerala Samajam Model School, conveyed her condolences, stating, “We extend our deepest sympathies to the bereaved family. May the soul of the departed rest in eternal peace.”
The teaching and non-teaching staff, along with former students of the institution, also mourned his passing and offered prayers for the departed soul.
K. P. G. Chettan’s legacy of service, humility, and dedication will be remembered with enduring respect by the community he so passionately served.
