UditVani, Jamshedpur : A pall of gloom descended over Jharkhand following the untimely death of 22-year-old Veer Soren, grandson of former Chief Minister Champai Soren and son of BJP leader Babulal Soren.
Several social and political organizations across the state have expressed profound grief over the tragic loss.
According to reports, Veer Soren died suddenly due to illness in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, on Tuesday. His health reportedly deteriorated on February 24, following which he was rushed to a hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.
Sources said Veer had travelled to Manali with friends on February 22. The group was staying at a homestay in Simsa.
On February 23, they visited Solang and Sethan before returning to their accommodation in the evening.
The following day, after spending some time around the homestay, they returned at around 12.30 pm, when Veer went to sleep. On being awakened later, he complained of severe headache.
His friends arranged medicine through an online delivery platform and administered it to him.
At approximately 2.30 pm, a thud was heard from his room. When his friends rushed in, they found him lying on the floor beside the bed.
He was immediately taken by car to Civil Hospital, Manali. During transit, frothing at the mouth was observed. Doctors at the hospital administered CPR for a considerable time; however, after examination, he was declared dead.
Hemant Soren Expresses Condolences
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident.
In a post on X, he said he was shocked and saddened to learn about the sudden demise of Veer Soren in Kullu.
He prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to endure the irreparable loss, adding that the government stands firmly with them in this hour of grief.
Vikas Singh Mourns the Untimely Death
Vikas Singh, President of Brahmarshi Vikas Manch and Managing Director of K.K. Builders, also conveyed heartfelt condolences. Describing the death of Veer Soren at such a young age as extremely painful and shocking, he said the untimely loss has left everyone deeply saddened.
He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength for Champai Soren and his family.
