
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Several parts of Jharkhand witnessed light to moderate rainfall over the past 24 hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Meteorological Centre, Ranchi.

The rainfall activity has been attributed to a trough extending from Gangetic West Bengal to north coastal Andhra Pradesh across Odisha at around 0.9 km above mean sea level, which continues to influence weather conditions over the region.
The highest maximum temperature of 34.8°C was recorded at Chaibasa, while the lowest minimum temperature of 12.0°C was reported from Gumla.
