
UditVani, Jamshedpur: Jharkhand continued to experience mild winter conditions as the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ranchi, reported no cold wave or rainfall across the state during the past 24 hours.
As per the Realised Weather Report based on 8.30 AM observations, Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 22.8°C, marginally below normal, while the minimum temperature settled at 12.3°C, which was above normal.
Jamshedpur saw a maximum temperature of 25.4°C and a minimum of 10.5°C, indicating comparatively warmer daytime conditions.
Chaibasa registered the highest maximum temperature in the state at 26.8°C, whereas the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Gumla AWS, where the temperature dropped to 6.6°C.
The IMD confirmed that no rainfall was recorded at any station in Jharkhand during the last 24 hours.
However, fog affected visibility at a few locations, with AMS Deoghar reporting the lowest visibility of 450 metres, while MO Jamshedpur also witnessed fog with visibility around 600 metres.
The department stated that cold wave conditions remained absent across the state.
Weather conditions across districts monitored through Automated Weather Stations (AWS) remained largely stable, with no significant variations observed.
Residents have been advised to remain cautious during early morning hours due to reduced visibility in fog-prone areas.
