UditVani, Jamshedpur: Following reports of a gas leak from a propylene-laden tanker near the Jio Petrol Pump on the Baharagora-Baripada Main Road close to Jamshola, the East Singhbhum district administration has acted swiftly to ensure public safety.
As per the directives of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, the area has been cordoned off and vehicular movement on the National Highway has been completely suspended to avoid any untoward incident.
Efforts to contain the leak are underway under expert supervision. As a precautionary measure, residents of nearby areas are being informed and advised accordingly.
The Deputy Commissioner has urged citizens to remain calm and not pay heed to any rumors.
He assured that the situation is under full administrative control and all necessary precautionary steps are being taken.
The district administration appeals to the public to cooperate by following official instructions, staying calm, and avoiding any misleading information.
